Hi, I’m Rachel.

I’m the founder of The BFF Club, and my mission is to build a close-knit community of like-minded animal lovers who share the same empathetic approach for pets. This journey started back when I worked in corporate management for nearly a decade — then made the drastic change to leave and work in pet care, specifically at doggie daycares. It’s there that led me to rethink how we care for our pets everywhere.

I’ve gained extensive knowledge on dog behavior throughout my career as a pet care professional, and along the way I’ve realized how important it is to understand an animal’s feelings when caring for them — there’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. I call it the “follow the feelings” approach, and it’s a philosophy I’ve instilled in our club.

Pets have always been a huge part of my life. As a kid, our place was like a zoo — dogs, cats, and even birds! We also fostered rescue dogs, and many of them found their forever homes right in our house. Now, as an adult, I’ve had two amazing dogs who make daily walks the best part of my day.

When I meet your dog, you can trust that I’ll give them all the love and attention they deserve. After all, dogs truly are our best buddies!
